2022-2023 Disbursements

This past year, the CISD Booster for Special Programs was pleased to provide the following items to support all students receiving Special Education services:

* Core Vocabulary Exchange System for Tailored Language/Speech Instruction & Functional Communication
* "Hug Machine" Designed to Provide Calming Pressure Input to Students with Sensory Processing Difficulties
* Tumble Devices for Occupational Therapy 
* Organizational Datebooks -- Enabling Executive Function Skill Training for Middle School Special Education Students
* Educator Training on Identifying and Resolving Challenging Behaviors
* Virtual Training on Applied Behavior Analytics
* Emotions, Feelings, and Situations Short Stories 
* Life Skill Training Kits 

These are just a few examples for the 2022-2023 school year.  These efforts are only made possible by our community members, businesses, and  families who join or support the Booster with your donations!  Thank you.
