About Us

Founded in 2012, the CISD Booster for Special Programs is a district-wide organization that supports all Special Programs students and staff. We are a federally recognized non-profit 501(c)(3). 

The following programs we support:
  • Little Dragons - new in 2025!
  • Dragon U - new in 2025!
  • Prekindergarten, including ECSC
  • Special Education, including Dyslexia
  • Section 504, including ADHD
  • English as a Second Language
  • Transition Services for post high school
  • Speech, OT, PT, Vision and Music Therapies
  • Audiology Services
  • Psychological Services
  • Adaptive PE 

We are one of few CISD organizations that impacts ALL eleven campuses. We help support approximately:
  • 268 students in Pre-K
  • 760 students on an IEP
  • 889 students with a 504
  • 332 students in English as a Second Language
  • 10 transition students
  • and the 250 staff who help these students succeed!

Our mission is to recognize, invest in, celebrate, and support the faculty, students, and parents of the Carroll ISD Special Programs community in pursuit of excellence in academic achievement and personal development.
